Thanksgiving 2017 at IIM Raipur

As India marks 70 years of Independence, Kartavya - the CSR Club of IIM Raipur - led the institution in
kicking off celebrations by celebrating the work of our support staff including members of the security,
housekeeping and kitchen teams.

On Monday evening, first year students organized games for the staff and held interactions with them,
thanked them for their efforts and shared lighter moments with male and female staff members. Games
were played including decoration games, musical chairs, sporting events such as stump throwing and ball
games. Earlier the mood was set by students inviting the staff on to the central badminton court with music
and loud cheering.

The event helped raise the energy and bonding among staff and students, bringing smiles to every face.
The event ended with the distribution of sweets and gifts to each of the 90 support staff amid the
expression of heartfelt gratitude and love by all the participants.

Altogether, the event Thanksgiving 2017 saw IIM Raipur come together to reaffirm their belief in the
dignity of labour and social responsibility.
