Greetings!

I write this letter to response the announcement of your school. I would like to express my interest in
applying to be part of teaching staff in Filipino. Enclosed is my updated resume for your review. I sturdy
believe that my skills and knowledge is suited to be the asset of your school.

In April 2, 2018, I completed my degree in Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education at Capiz State
University-Pontevedra Campus, a one of a kind university that has a high quality of Education and
promotes globally competitive graduates. I was awarded as Best Student Teacher in Filipino, Student
Researcher of the Year, and Outstanding Student Researcher of the Year. Last December 7, 2018 I got my
greatest achievement wherein I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Completing
degree is not easy to handle especially having a scholarship but I am proud to say that I overcome all the
challenges and pressure that came in my way.

After my class, I’ve been doing tutorial at home, helping neighbours doing projects and also I accepted to
do some invitation cards which help me not only mentally but also financially. During my practice
teaching I handled a lot of grade level, various subjects and of course different kinds of learners which
help me a lot in boosting my confidence and to become flexible and holistic. Due to positive remarks of
my cooperating teacher and observer I was chosen to demonstrate as a representative of Filipino Major
during Education Week in our school.

My experiences equipped me with the knowledge in terms of classroom management, time management
and dealing diverse of learners. I want create a positive relationship not only with the learners but also to
my future co-teachers. And I am always open for suggestions that will help me more as an educator.

As a teacher I am creative, well-rounded and devoted to my work. My passion inside me ignites my

eagerness to teach the young people and inspire them even sometimes it takes difficult circumstances. I
believe that my personal experience combined with ethics, professionalism and great enthusiasm in
nurturing students is suited to become the asset of your school.
