I am Leidi Lymel L. Luchavez, a fresh graduate, and I am writing to apply for the
position of Elementary Teacher at University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue,
Basic Education Department. Your school has a reputation of academic excellence
and quality education, and I believe my background and experience in education
would make me a valuable addition to your school faculty.
I’ve been at the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue since I was in Junior
High School and Senior High School but I obtained my Bachelors in Elementary
Education at University of Cebu Main Campus in 2019 as Cum Laude and having an
award of Leadership Awardee, Service Awardee, Volunteer Award, and Loyalty
Award. I am still in the process of having my LET review to obtain the License of
Professional Teachers (LPT).
I maintained high standard of academic achievement, performance, and other
extracurricular activities while I am still a student. I was a consistent honor student, a
president of the mother organization and the sub-organization of Education
department, and I am also part of the NSTP-CWTS facilitator who handled 60
students from the Engineering Department. I also become part of the volunteers of
the UC-Cares where we were given the chance to tutor children from our adopted
school which is the City Central Elementary School. I am also an active performer
while I am still studying wherein, I competed to school-based competitions.
Given my years of experience and passion for teaching, I am certain that I would
make a positive impact as part of the professional teaching team at University of
Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue- Basic Education Department. I’d love to meet you in
