TEACHERS TO STUDENTS PERFORMANCE INFORMATION SYSTEM

DESIGN USING VISUAL STUDIO AT MEDIKACOM VOCATIONAL HIGH
SCHOOL BANDUNG

This research aimed to knows the process of teachers performance

evaluation that run at MedikaCom Vocational High School Bandung.

The method used in this research are direct observation, interviews, and
direct guidance by supervisor of MedikaCom Vocational High School and also
supported by literature study.

Having done the research, the problem that faced in the system of teachers
performance evaluation had not effective, because the data processing was still
using SIM PADAMU application, which performance evaluation can be held when
supervisor of MedikaCom Vocational High School was instructed to school, and to
increase the value and quality of education, we need to hold teachers performance
evaluation performance for each semester.

The evaluation data searching was still difficult because there is no “local-
based”system, and it also becomes problem in processing data evaluation. To solve
that problem, the new system of teachers performance evalution was built using
UML (Unified Modelling Language) and also with Waterfall system development
method. The system was made using Microsoft Visual Studio and MySQL as the
database

The suggestion given were by : 1) providing training for the users; 2)

maintaining and backup data perodically; and 3) developing of the system that
easier to processing teachers performance evaluation, data searching, and report
each semester.
