B umi Sky Institute of Foundation Endowments Earth Heaven, Heaven Earth re-open training Permaculture
Design Course (PDC sky Earth) dated January 30 to February 12, 2018. This 14-day intensive training will
train participants to design Permaculture Farm. The training will be presented by Mr. Iskandar Waworuntu,
Permaculture senior practitioners in Indonesia and Krishna Waworuntu, Earth Sky Farm Improvement
Manager and practitioners Permaculture / Permablitz. For maximum results, it combines training field
practice, delivery and in-class discussions, visits, and video playback. At the end of the training,
participants will create a draft Permaculture Farm with guidance from the instructor.

This training will be delivered in INDONESIAN.

Earth Sky Institute is the education and training institution of Waqf

Foundation Earth Sky. Founded in May 2014, the Foundation has
a goal to help build self-sufficient communities that follow a
Bohemian life and the laws through education and training, zakat,
infaq and alms and endowments. Its mission is to fight hard to
apply all aspects of Islam in sega-la of his activity, and can
maximally contribute to the development of a just, sustainable,
respectful and free of usury through the development of food
sovereignty, energy, and financial.

This agency activities conducted on Earth Heaven Farm, Imogiri,

Yogyakarta, owned by Mr. Iskandar Waworuntu. Farm is open to
anyone who wants to jointly learn to recognize the mutually
beneficial relationship between man and his environment in
accordance with human responsibility as Khalifah to maintain and
manage the environment in accordance with the principles of the
laws.

Adab HEAVEN ON EARTH FARM

Please adhere to the etiquette when it is in the Earth's environment Sky Farm:
1. Pronounce assalamualaikum each time you meet someone.
2. Wear-sleeved tops and trousers / skirt below the knee, advised Muslim women
to wear the veil / hijab to cover the hair.
3. Food and drinks from outside are not allowed to carry because we support the food and
drink kosher-thoyyib.
4. Electricity is used only when necessary, limit the use of the tissue paper.
5. Do not carry a plastic bag from the outside and throw away the plastic. Separate organic and non-organic (such as plastics and glass).

6. Use headphones to listen to music.

7. Respect the time and people who were praying. Do not talk loudly at the time of the prayer.
It is advisable to pray together.

COURSE MATERIALS

Permaculture Design Course --Kursus permakultur-- design globally recognized certified. Earth Sky institute gives
you the opportunity to learn and practice permaculture design on Earth Sky Farm. This training for 2 weeks. Here
you will have the chance to learn a few things:

The training cost includes accommodations together in Earth Sky. You will stay in one room inn Earth Sky including

Indonesian traditional organic food fresh and tasty.

INSTRUCTOR
Iskandar Waworuntu
Permaculture Senior Practitioner, owner of
Earth Sky Farm and Chairman of Yayasan
Wakaf Earth Sky. Born in Jakarta on March 1,
1954, Alexander had just undergone formal
schooling to the age of 14 years in 10 different
schools. Since then, he is searching for the
meaning of life by performing a wide range of
adventures and activities. Tahun1969 until
1970, he went to Australia, and between 1971
and 1973, he lived in rural Sulawesi. 1973 to
1982, he decided to settle in Yogyakarta, joined
by the Theater Workshop and establish
cooperative leather craftsmen.
From 1983 to 1987 he participated in the
pro-gram transmigration spontaneous and
open farmland in the forest of Bengkulu,
Sumatra, where here he is finally getting the
belief that most noble job for a man is to be a
farmer. Armed with the experience of
Bengkulu, he opened an organic farm in
Pupuan, Tabanan, Bali which is still running
today. There he also founded the Wisnu
Foundation and open an organic restaurant
Café Batu Jimbar in Sanur, Bali. Kecintaanya
to agriculture, taking him deep Permaculture,
and since the beginning of the year
2007, he and his family resettle in Yogyakarta
to open the Heaven Earth Farm in the village
of Mangunan, Imogiri, Yogyakarta.
Waworuntu SON KRISNA
Earth Sky Farm Improvement Manager,
Prak-TISI Permaculture / Permablitz. Born
in Bali, April 19, 1993, Krishna grew up in a
farming family, and the last nine years of
living in her father's permaculture farming
systems in the Earth's sky, Yogyakarta. But
almost three years ago, Krishna decided to
further explore Permaculture farm system
with Geoff Lawton learning from a veteran
practitioner from Australia and an internship
program in the deserts of Jordan.
His experience includes starting
Permablitz activities in Yogyakarta with
Paul Daley, making various improvements
on Earth Heaven Farm, and teach
Permaculture Design Course along with
the instructor and practitioner-ture
permacul Australia, John Champagne.
NINA WIDJAJA
Having studied and worked in Canada for
nearly eight years, Nina Widjaja decided to
explore the world and live a life outside of the
system. Starting from simple decision to live in
the valley of the Andes with planting and
cultivating mushrooms, in the early years this
was Nina finds that the affluent and abundant
life is very achievable when human synergy
with nature. Living collaborating with nature is
also reflected in its effort to produce their own
food needs and daily hygiene. Not only that,
his career as a dive instructor used as a
means of advocacy safeguard the natural
environment of the sea.
In 2015 Nina departed back to his homeland
to get to know the natural wealth of Indonesia
with a variety of potential. At the beginning of
2016 Nina joined the Sky Earth Institute to
explore the science of permaculture.
Currently, Nina lived in Bantul, Yogyakarta
and build a natural product for everyday
needs with ARTESANA flag that focuses on
the empowerment of local resources,
education to be a wise consumer and share
their knowledge in a workshop format.
