I am currently working for Ted Baker as a full-time sales assistant. My work here involves a number of different
duties that have included tailoring training as well as boosting sales and providing excellent customer service.
Before my employment with Ted Baker I worked within Sports Retail. This career path was chosen as I have a
passion for working in a fast paced environment. It also provided me with the opportunity of working with the
general public enabling me to provide second to none customer service and managing techniques that were all
unique with different experiences. My passion for selling has enabled me to reach and surpass those goals set.

Responsibilities

o Was responsible for reaching team sales goals and help implement programs to meet goals working
with all departments.
o Throughout most positions held I have had to deal with all types of customer complaint thus improving
my diplomacy and problem solving skills.
o I have excelled in my communication skills. This has been demonstrated in my ability to take training
sessions e.g. Induction, Health & Safety etc. and also when dealing with internal and external
communication.
o I am often left to work unsupervised so I have to use my initiative if I finish my current task I always look
to see if anything else can be completed.
o I was included in the store’s top up-seller competitions throughout the Christmas periods, and Summer
sale periods, this resulted in the Bristol store securing a new MOD as well as increase the staff budget
for the next year.
o Regularly visited relevant competition to maintain an awareness of store performance issues and
market trends.
o My initiative has enabled me to achieve all commission targets set in an unsupervised role. This
included being actively involved within new training days across the country for new product launches.

o I have learnt that punctuality is key in almost any business.

Hobbies & Interests

One of my main hobbies is keeping fit and I try to achieve this by being a member of my local gym. Also to aid
my fitness I regularly play football. I currently play for Longwell Green Men’s on Sunday mornings and the U18’s
in the afternoon, we train twice a week and play on Sundays. I enjoy other activities such as athletics, boxing.
Out of all these sports I enjoy playing football the most which brings out my leadership and the desire to perform
well.
