“RESOLUTION NO. 2019-110

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE THREE-YEAR LOCAL YOUTH
DEVELOPMENT PLAN (LYDP) FOR 2019 TO 2021 OF SAN NICOLAS, ILOCOS NORTE.

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742 otherwise known as the SK Reform Act of 2015
ensures wide and multi-sectoral youth participation in governance, a local youth development
council has been created to assist the planning and execution of projects and programs of the
Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and the Pederasyon in all levels;

WHEREAS, the SK Reform Act of 2015 requires the formulation of a 3-year Local Youth
Development Plan (LYDP) which embodies development programs, projects and activities for
the benefit of the youth organizations and youth-serving organizations embodied under the
Sangguniang Kabataan;

WHEREAS, the LYDP shall be prepared in consultation through the LYDC members in
accordance with Republic Act No. 8044 Nine Youth Agenda;

WHEREAS, the LYDP shall serve as the basis of the preparation of Sangguniang
Kabataan for the CBYDP and other local youth development plans in their respective
barangays;

WHEREAS, the twelve (12) youth organizations and youth-serving organizations

represented 8 youth agenda embodied in the PYDP;

WHEREAS, after a thorough study of the Committee on Youth and Sports Development,
Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriations and Committee on Laws, Rules, Ethics,
Privileges and Good Government, it was found out that the same is in order;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE

SANGGUNIANG BAYAN IN SESSION, to approve the Three-Year Local Youth Development
Plan (LYDP) for 2019-2021 of San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte;

WHEREFORE, on motion of Member Inno Ma. Angelo Paulo O. Hernando, duly

seconded, the foregoing resolution was unanimously approved.

RESOLVED FURTHER to transcribe copies of this resolution and furnish the same to all
concerned, for their information and guidance.
