PROJECT PROPOSAL
I. Title:

SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL (SLAC) SESSION

ON HOW TO START ORGANIC GARDENING, BACKYARD GARDENING AND ITS IMPORTANCE
AND GIVING OUT OF SEEDS

II. Rationale:
As one of the purpose of the implementation of Gulayan sa Paaralan and to
disseminate information to parents on how to have readily available vegetables at
home, San Rafael Elementary School will conduct the School Learning Action Cell
(SLAC) session on How to Start Organic Gardening, Backyard Gardening and Its
Importance and Distribution of Seeds to the GPTA and Homeroom PTA Officers on July
20, 2018, 3:00-5:00 PM at San Rafael Elementary School, San Marcelino, Zambales.

III. Objectives:
The training aims to:
a. demonstrate understanding on How’s of Starting Organic Gardening,
Backyard Gardening and Its Importance
b. encourage the parents to start their own backyard garden and implement
organic gardening
c. distribute seeds to the parents as one way of encouraging them to start their
own backyard garden
