something from their story? (answers may vary)

2. Literary Extenders (answers may vary)

The students will be grouped into five. Next
meeting they will present an adaptation of their
favorite part in the scenes presented. Their role
play will revolve on the “Modern” Romeo and
Juliet. They are expected to deviate from the
presented strip since they will be performing
the scenes based on their own interpretations.

3. Across the Curriculum

The teacher will ask the students to relate this
verse on their lesson about Romeo and Juliet.
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy
or boast; it is not arrogant or rude… Love
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all
things, endures all things.”
After that, the teacher will let the students
share their opinions about the love that Romeo
and Juliet have for each other in relation with
the verse.
The teacher will then transition it by saying
that love is the universal language for even
though their love happened in the story before,
other persons still feel it.

4. Evaluation
The literary extender will serve as an
evaluation. The students will be graded
according to the following criteria

Message – 5 points
Uniqueness – 5 points
Delivery (Mastery, Stage Presence, Audience
Impact, and use of props) – 10 points
