NARRATIVE REPORT

IV LANETE

I Introduction
Last May 22-26, 2017, Mam Ethel M. Lualhati as well as Mrs. Loida R. Aluan one of the
facilitator conducted a 5-day training workshop on Early Language Literacy and Numeracy (
ELLN) in Jose C. Pastor Memorial Elementary School.
After this training the teachers are expected to:
1. Enhanced pedagogical knowledge, skills and attitudes on early literacy and numeracy.
2. Improved ability and assess learners’ literacy and numeracy skills.
3. Sustained commitment in mentoring, sharing of teaching experiences.

II Indeed, this training has imparted sufficient knowledge on ELLN and it properly excerted in
every classroom. This was developed as a tool to improve program quality for all the children
especially in IV- Lanete. It was a fruitful and fun learning experienced to every pupils. They were
actively participated in all activities, like doing and preparing the materials, answering different
exercises prepared by the teacher. They worked as a team to create manipulative instructional
materials to display and to be used in their classroom in their everyday life with a great help for
those non reader and slow learners.

 ELLN instructional materials can be a big help for both teachers and pupils as well in teaching
and learning program.
