PICTO- NARRATIVE REPORT ON ELLN

ECHO-TRAINING

“If the children can’t learn the way you teach; Teach them
the way they learn”

Learning to read and number recognition is critical to a child’s

success in school and later in life. One of the best predictors of
whether a child will function competently in school and go on to
contribute actively in our increasingly literate society is the level to
which the child progresses in literacy and numeracy. Although the
abilities continue to develop throughout the life span, the early
childhood years, from birth through the life span, the early childhood
years-from birth through age eight are the most important period for
literacy and numeracy development.

To help the development of the children reading and recognizing

numbers the Department of Education send the teachers to attend a
Training Program on K-3 DAP in Early Literacy,Language and
Numeracy to cater all the needs of their respective children. After
seven days of training, Our School Head Mrs. Maria Nora R. Padayao
informed that there will be an Echo – Training on DAP ELLN in the
district.

Juaton Elementary School was the host and facilitated by Mrs.

Maria Nora R. Padayao together with her teacher Mrs. Analiza M.
Diano. The Participating school were Dr. H. Serafica Elem. School,
Catmon Elem. School and Concepcion Elem. School.

Indeed, all the participants enjoyed and learned many things

about the Echo-Training conducted.
