JUNE 24, 2019

Today is my first day of OJT in AS Enriquez Engineering Consultancy. We were assigned to one of their
project named Grand Residences Condominium. We had met our Project Manager Engr. Edwin Fuentes
who will be one of our mentor on my OJT. On this day, the tagged as along on doing inspection and
introduced what will be our assignment on the next day.

JUNE 25, 2019

 Doing our given assignment which is an inspection on tower 3 in 27th-28th floor for the major
balances of works in every unit such as canopy grooving, uneven slab, tiles grouting, damaged
on walls, etch.

 Checking on beams and girder on tower 4 with Engr. Clarence Fuentes

 Observation on how they put stirrups, slab, and pipes
 Learn how to read the orientation of the building
 Learn how to count the stirrups, rebars along the beam and girder

JUNE 27, 2019

 Inspection with Engr. Frank, Engr. John and other OJT’s Czindy and Rommel on tower 4
 Tasked on counting the stirrups, rebars, spacing of rebars for the Shearwall

TIEROD- used to hold and tighten the formworks on beams and girders.

JUNE 28, 2019

 Inspection for the concrete pouring to slab

 Checking and writing the data information of concrete mix coming from the batching plan.
 Inspection on 15th floor for the concrete pouring to slab and observe it they are using vibrator
for this work.

VIBRATOR- used in concrete pouring to slab, girder and beams in order to avoid honeycomb.

WEEKLY REPORT FROM JULY1-6 2019

 For this week, I have learned a lot from the field and site office.
 In the office, I had learned the different papers for managing the project such as
approval, inspection or request letter. But we are only allowed to read those papers for
gaining knowledge on how the project runs.
 Our PM gave us a questionnaire contains Situational and Technical questions. This
questionnaire helped me to identify on what to learn in site aside from doing inspection
and observation. It serves me as my anchor to gain more knowledge in the field.
 I have learned about the minimum days of stripping of formworks in columns, beams,
and girders.
 Learned also about lintel and stiffener column. Also in this week we had done site
inspection on tower 3 and 4.
 Where in tower 3 is the continuation for the inspection of balances of works and on
tower 4 is the inspection of structural works.

GONDULA- used as paintworks platform in painting the exterior of the building.

LINTEL BEAM- commonly placed on door openings and also uses to transmit the loads to
the wall.
STIFFENER COLOMN- uses to prevent the wall to collapse in terms of earth movement.

WEEKLY REPORT JULY 8-14, 2019

 For this week, my assignment was to check the CHB Wall in tower 4 if it is already
plastered.
 Checked on the structural works in the area 1 and 2 with Czindy and Rommel.
 Doing my assignment in tower 3 from 17th- 19th floor for the major balances or they
called punchlist.
 Scanning papers on office if we are already done with our site inspection.
