Title: Buwan ng Wika at Buwan ng Kasaysayan Culmination

Name of Proponent: Lyndon T. Saycon, School Head

Date: August 29,2019 – Culmination Day

I. Rationale

Having a common language on one country is very important as it enables countrymen to

have a better quality of communication. Promoting the Filipino as the country’s national
language and looking back in the past are very important. So annually, there’s an event that
promotes the Filipino language and its rich history. This year’s theme for Buwan ng Wika is
“Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa isang Bansang Filipino” and “ Kasaysayan: Bahagi ng Ating
Nakaraan, Gabay sa Kinabukasan” for the Buwan ng Kasaysayan.
August is “Buwan ng Wika” (Celebrating the Filipino Language) and “Buwan ng
Kasaysayan” (Celebrating the Philippine History), and Julian Calibo Memorial School will join
the celebration. In addition to that, the Filipino coordinator and the teachers will conduct many
specific activities for the students to join.
