1. What is the importance of the NSTP Act national development?

 In order to understand the importance of the NSTP act to national development, we

need to know the objective of the Republic Act No. 9163. This RA establishes the
NSTP program for college students. Based on this RA, here are a few points that
relate to the importance of NSTP in society: NSTP enhances civic consciousness as
well as defense preparedness among the youth; NSTP inculcates patriotism and
service ethics among the youth; NSTP develops the youth’s social responsibility
through civic works. The NSTP objectives and importance help towards national
development by shaping the people into being responsible and patriotic citizens.

2. As a student, what is your role in the task of the nation building?

 As a student, we have to know that “Nation” is a country considered as group of

people living in certain territory under one government. We have to know “Building”
here means not masonry construction but development. Through this explanation
we can know that “Nation building” is country’s development. Country means not
soil, but us, the students, the people. So it means people’s development in the
innermost view. A nation should be developed by its people. We students or people
should work hard to strengthen it.
