Part 1 Multiple Viewpoints

You are asked to take 20-25 photographs within the Architectural Building from different perspectives
views (from above, low position, at angle, with close yes, and so on-fully explore the space) and different
scales (close up and zoom out). Using the concept of transfiguration in Photoshop you need to create a
space. The final image should evoke a sense of contiguity created by multiple viewpoints by applying the
techniques of M.C. Escher’s work. Add people; some with shadows and others in motion. You may have
the final image in black and white or in colors. Print the image on 17” x 11” paper. The image should cover
between ½ or ¾ of the 17”x 11”page.

 The image has to have high quality and high resolution- 300 dpi!
Assessment
The assignment will be assessed on the following criteria:
- execution (how well the assignment is executed)
- concept (strength of intent)
- presentation (how well the work is presented)
- reflection (how well the written work discusses the project and links to the themes of the assignment).

In assessing your work we will be looking to see the following:


- you have included all required components
- you have created a meaningful and compelling artwork through the manipulation of different mediums
