AFFIDAVIT

I, EPEFANIO CASTRO MALBUESO, of legal age, Filipino, married,

and a resident of Brgy. 94-A, Basper, Tacloban City, after having been sword
in accordance with law, hereby depose and say:

1. That I personally know Carmen S. Espino and her predecessors-in-

interest Filomena S. Espino and Flaviano Espino for at least fifty (50)
years as I am a former neighbor, close confidante, and a “kumpare” of
her father Flaviano Espino;

2. That as her father’s “kumpare”, I would often visit their house at Brgy.
94, Tigbao, Tacloban City to talk or drink with her father;

3. That I also know and hereby declare that Carmen S. Espino, through
her predecessors-in-interest, have been in PRIOR, ACTUAL, PUBLIC,
NOTORIOUS, EXCLUSIVE AND PEACEFUL POSSESSION of the
land in the concept of an owner, continuously and uninterrupted for
MORE THAN THIRTY (30) YEARS;

4. That I am not related in any way, either by consanguinity or affinity, to

Carmen S. Espino or her predecessors-in-interest;

5. That I executed this Affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing facts
in support of the filing of a case for Forcible Entry by CarmenS. Espino
against the defendants.
