he has good knowledge farming and cash crops , due to lack of water system he facing some issue
related with farming so she decided to install his own pipeline through 2 boar wells to well and from
well to land and leveling of land .

2. Low water level : RL. 48m.

3. Length of rising main : 2087 m.

4. Discharge : 5.23 L.P.S.

5. Diameter of pipe : 100 mm.

6. Head calculation :

a) Static head : Full supply level - low water

R.L 75 - R.L 48
= 27 mtr.
b) Frictional loss ( hf ) :
Using Haxen Willims flow formula to time of out the frictional
loss with c-150 and v= 1m/sec.
i.e V = 0.85 x (R)0.63 x (S)0.54 where (R=d/4)

Total frictional head = (ht) = total length x S

= 2087 x 31.66 x 10-3

Total head = static head + frictional head + losses Due to bend

= 27m. + 66.07m. +6.6 m.
