b. Revise sentence to its correct parallelism; and
c. Appreciate the importance of parallelism in expressing ideas clearly.

Sing an eyes breaker song with the class.

C. Lesson Proper
a. Activities
Ask the students what is Parallelism. Discuss with the class its importance.
Post the sentences in the board:
1. My friend is honest, sincere, and possesses humility.
2. Seeing a ghost is to believe in ghost.
3. The applicant was told that he got the job and to the start the next day.

b. Analysis
Let the students analyze the sentences posted. Ask them how the sentences are
constructed. Is there a fault, or if all are correctly constructed.
Call for students to share their answer with the class.

c. Application
Post more sentences with faulty parallelism. Ask representatives to revise the sentences
correctly.
Call for students to construct their own sentences. Ask the whole class to check each
given sentence.

What is parallelism?
Why do we need to construct our sentences in parallel?

IV- EVALUATION
Revise the following sentences to their correct parallelism.
1. My best friend is pretty, hardworking, and has a kindheart.
2. To believe in God is living with God.
3. Walking daily is to live healthily.
4. Our town is clean, green, and possesses beauty.
5. She is alive, alert, and always enthusiastic.

V- ASSIGNMENT

Research about the basic steps in the writing process. Write it in your notebook.
