Plan
The institutionalization of School-Based Management (SBM) through R.A. 9
Governance of Basic Education Act in 2001[1], led TO the formulation of Sc
Plan (SIP), which serves as a mechanism to support SBM implementation a
By law, all schools are mandated to prepare the said plan with the ultimate
achieving the desired educational outcomes through the enhancement of c
- by competent, committed, and caring teachers; by creating a safe and nur
for learning; and by increasing the stakeholders’ participation in the entire
improvement process.
SIP is a 3-year plan and was envisioned to help school heads, teachers, pare
stakeholders in the school community to participate in a continuous improv
identifying potential barriers to improvement and thereby finding ways to m
from where it is now to a condition in which pupils/students can achieve th
potential. The process primarily requires constant analysis of children’s nee
school and community stakeholders can address these needs.
