About BVM
Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering
College (BVM) is a Premier Institution of CVM
established in 1948 with the Motto of “Work is
Worship”. We are the first approved Degree
Engineering College of the Gujarat State. More than
20000 engineers have been graduated from this
college spread across the globe. It is the first
Autonomous Institute of Gujarat State. It offers
B.Tech, and M.Techdegree Programmes. The College
is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University.
The most striking features of the Institute is
dedicated and experienced faculty base & most of
the Programmes are NBA Accredited. It is a matter
of pride, that the Institute has successfully
completed prestigious World Bank Assistance
Project, TEQIP-II of INR 10 crores and further has
been awarded with TEQIP-III grant of INR 7 crores.
Institute has also received the grant of INR 1.20
crores for providing student start up and innovation
policy (SSIP) by Govt. of Gujarat.

About Organizing Department
The Departments of Electronics and Communication
Engineering was established in year 2006.Major
strengths of the department are dedicated faculty
members, meritorious students, well equipped
laboratories and skilled support staff. Department is
actively involved in grooming the students by
imparting quality teaching learning process with
major focus on outcome based education and
produce industry ready engineers.
About Programme
Programme Objective:
Objective of FDP is to bridge the gap of academia
and industry. Often the working knowledge
expected by the industry is not fully covered by
the defined academics. Therefore, such training
programs will be primarily focused on what
industry is doing in the domain of VLSI, ASIC
Design and Embedded System Design.

Participants will be able to acquire fundamental
knowledge of VLSI and Embedded System Design.
Participants will be able to understand and
implement flow of testing and verification of
VLSI, ASIC and Embedded System Design with
IoT.Participants will be allowed to work on
collaborative projects at eInfochips.
Who should benefit?
Teaching faculty members from government,
government aided engineering colleges and self-
finance institutions and Research scholars.
Maximum 30 participants will be selected on first
come first serve basis.
Resource Persons
The course will be conducted by resource persons
from eInfochips, Ahmedabad in order to impart
the true industry assisted learning experience.

Completed registration form along with the Cash or
demand draft drawn in favor of “Principal, BVM
Engineering College, Vallabh Vidyanagar” payable at
Vallabh Vidyanagar should be sent to the
coordinators before 20th September 2019.
Registration Fees
Faculty Members & Research scholars: Rs.1000/-
The registration fees include course material,
participation kit, Breakfast, Tea and lunch. No
TA/DA will be paid.
Last Date for Application: 20th September 2019
Confirmation of Participation: 21st September
2019.
Accommodation will be provided on first come first
served basis in the guest house of BVM College on
chargeable basis.
