INTRODUCTION

The specific identification of this construction method is Supply of Labor and Materials for the
Conversion of the Bowling alley to Office Space at Reception Hall, PICC. The name of the procuring
entity is the Philippine International Convention Center. The contract period is 120 calendar days with
an Approved Contract in the amount of Ten Million Eight Hundred Eighty Thousand Pesos (Php
10,880,000.00).

1.0 OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this method of statement is to define the procedures to ensure that the
proposed materials and workmanship to be used at the site are complying with the condition /
requirements as stipulated in the specifications.
2.0 SCOPE
The scope of works is limited only to what has been agreed and is based only with the
quotation and scope of works signed by both parties. Additional works shall be agreed and
made only after the evaluation of the contractor and the client.

CONSTRUCTION METHODS

1. Preparation of manpower, construction plans, board-up/barricade, safety signage and

permit which is necessary before the commencement of work.
2. Site preparation which includes various tasks like dismantling of ceiling, flooring, wood
panels, removal of sanitary and waterline and other existing materials which is needed to
be removed prior to commencement of the next phase of work.
3. Simultaneous works on the areas that will be converted to office space.

A. Ceiling works- Installment of acoustic Board in aluminum T-runner

B. Electrical works- Preparation of necessary conduits prior to lighting fixtures,
convenience outlets and lighting switches.
C. Partition works-Plastering of wall followed by skim coating. Smooth finish
D. Plumbing works- Installation of new water line and sewer line.
E. Flooring Works- Repair and leveling of the area to be tiled.
F. Finishing Works- Installation of necessary accessories for CR, wall and floor tile
works, painting works of partitions, installation of doors and accessories and other
materials stated in the BoQ.
