Fried Foods for a Cause
Rationale

A project created merely by students would need financial support. For financial capital to
transpire, the selling of fried snacks & delicacies would take place as a source of income. Fried
foods such as lumpiang shanghai, cheesesticks, french fries, tokneneng (fried quail eggs), egg
rolls and etc. are delicious snacks, often considered as “street foods” or “finger foods”, that are
highly sellable to students due to their affordability and the hassle-free/simple style of eating them.

Objective

The resource mobilization activity aims to:

1. To accumulate the amount needed for the establishment of the project

2. To create a comprehensive financial procedure that would lead to the prosperity of this
project

Project Development

I. Specific Fund-Raising Activities

The group will accumulate the amount needed through the organization of the
following activities and mechanisms:

Activity Description

Selling of Fried Snacks This is the main source of revenue in which

the expected gross income from the selling
of Fried Snacks is P.

Individual Monthly Contribution Each of the eight members will contribute

P70 monthly for the resource mobilization
project that will ensue for four months.
Therefore, each member’s total
contribution will be P280.00, which will
then be used as a contingency fund-raising
mechanism for the project.
II. Financial Management Scheme

A. Policies

These are the following policies to ensure the accumulation of financial goals which
will be followed by the proponents:

1. The management structure shall strictly follow the execution of individual

delegation and responsibilities for the progression of the project. There will be
two people assigned for the selling of each snack category, along with a head
secretary, and a treasurer/auditor for the safeguard of money and financial
reports. Furthermore, an overall project head exists to ensure the management
of both fund-raising activities.

2. The overall project head together with the treasurer and auditor should conduct
meetings discussing about the financial activities of the project and its progress.

3. All the members of the project hold the responsibility of remaining active in
communication platforms such as group chats regarding concerns and queries.
 B. Control Systems

The project’s control system will be bounded through financial statements

that would be reported by the treasurer and auditor of the project. As there will be
an auditing of weekly income, there will also be weekly documentation of the
reports. Furthermore, the overall project head will foresee all the financial
transactions of the project and will ensure that the resource mobilization program
is free from financial threats.

The group is plans to buy supplies & materials for the production of Fried Snacks worth
Php 1,200.00. Thus, the seed money of the project is P1,200.00.

Source of Budget

To accumulate the seed money worth P1,200, each member will contribute P150.

Expected Output

The objectives are expected to be achieved by the members for the accumulation of
amount needed for the prosperity of this project. Moreover, the fund-raising activities and
mechanisms such as the selling of Fried Snacks and the individual monthly contribution are
expected to meet the target amount.
