DAHI HANDI RULES

1) Dahi handi Event

 We are organizing 4 layer Dhahi handi (base +3).
 Height will be approx. 20 -22 feet.
 Winning prize will be Naira 150,000.
 Dress code: Shorts/sleeveless are not allowed (wear appropriate dress to climb
up)
 First-Aid medical facility will be available at event.
 After dahi handi “56 bhog” lunch will be served.

2) Govinda Groups
 Required min. 20 to max. 25 participants.
 One participant shall not allow in another group.
 Girls/Ladies are welcome in group as participant or can form separate
group.
 Govinda/Participant s should cut the nails before event. Long nail/s participant
will not be allowed.
 Group will be controlled by group leader.
 All participants are requested to cut the nails before event.
 Submit your nomination of groups along with group name before Saturday,
24th August 2019 5pm. (One Group one Excel Sheet, No Individual Names)

3) Handi Rules:
 Each group will be given 1 chance to break the handi.
 For sequence of groups, we will have lucky draw before 10 minutes of event.
 The Layers will be counted as, Base layer, First Layer, Second Layer and a top
person.
 A chance will be counted-over (foul) after falling down second layer. If only top
person falls-down it will not be considered as foul.
 Handi can be broken with the available coconut, hand or head.
 If all the groups are unable to break the Handi. Height will be adjusted
accordingly with approval.
