QUESTIONS.

1. Reflect how do good teachers strike a balance between the art and
the science of teaching? Are they born with the right personality?
Are they the product of good teacher-education programs? If both
factors play a role, which is important?

2. The reflective teacher sets aside regular blocks of time to think

about teaching activities and make new plans. Most teachers
complain about having insufficient time to reflect and plan. What
would you do to make more time available?
 ANSWER

1. Art can make the students not boring in the class. The art and the science of teaching can
make the teachers becoming into a good teacher. The art in teaching can make learning session
interesting and enjoyable. The students will become very diligent and stay sharp to study inside
the class. This also will improve them in their study effort.

Science also can be added in learning session to make a satisfactory and charm influences
in the classroom to make sure the students have a feeling to focus on study. The art and the
science of teaching also can make the students happier and the teachers can also improve their
method that how they are going to teach the students with the art and the science of teaching. For
these factors, they were born in the right personality is one of the most important factors. Be
born in the perfect personality can give them advantages in this type of situation. The teachers
with the right personalities also have much time to plan what they’re going to teach in the class.
Good planning of teaching presentations from the teachers will gain the student’s attractions and
the teachers can control the class easily.

This is because they can teach the students without any problems or obstacles. Meaning if
student’s attractions are under control, the class will run smoothly and full of fun based learning.
The product of good teacher-education programs are also one of the good important factors in
this situation. The teacher is one reliable person to deliver knowledge to their students. The good
institution of studying in teaching can be practiced to be a good future teacher. This can also give
them high quality of knowledge for being a good teacher.

For me, these two factors play a huge important role in order to make art and sciences of
teaching are succeed. Most important role is a good teacher-education program. There are lots of
institutions all over Malaysia that gives courses for these teacher educational programs. As we
look at all of the institution in Malaysia, we can see from which institution can gives a better
teacher that well prepared. The institution also can be proud if their students become the best
teacher among another institution that exists in Malaysia.
2. Teachers are always having problems with the time in class. Sometimes the teachers do
not have an enough times to teach the students. There are lots of reasons why a teacher don’t
have enough time to prepare the good teaching plans. Most teachers complain about having
insufficient time to reflect and plan.

Firstly, the school needs to give the teachers a specific time for the teachers to stay focus
and plan for a good and better teaching method. This will always give the teacher enough time to
envelop new style of teaching rather than old paper notes and writing on a black board. By
giving the teachers enough time to privately concentrate about their teaching props and books, it
will somehow helps the teacher to be calm and be succeed on planning their syllabus. For
examples, at 10am every morning the teachers will go to the library to create a new plan for
teaching methods.

Secondly, introduce some gadgets inside the class by using laptops and LCD projectors.
This thing might help the teachers to plan well as the teaching progress will run smoothly. As we
see, by using laptops and LCD projector, the subject notes are all in colorful table, with full of
helping pictures. This also can attract the students to focus on their learning. By using gadgets
such as laptop, it can also save time to plan for the next class session. For examples, Microsoft
Word can simply do some tricks such as fill in the blanks yet the word can be typed inside the
blanks rather than students have to copy themselves inside their book.

Thirdly, teachers can prepare the teaching plan after class time. As we know teacher’s
time table ends at 3pm. That time after they reached their home, teachers can still manage to
think for his/her teaching plan for tomorrow. How will them going to teach the students new
things with being able to control the whole class, with good yet not boring activities.

For these examples given, teaching plan will become easier for the teachers as they are
ready to teach new things to the students yet saving times to develop new strategies to confront
the students with a very attractive class.
