Respected sir,

I, Darlene Tamayo Frias am writing this letter to apply for one of your
collegiate scholarship programs. I am currently studying Academic Strand
STEM and I am in my senior year in high school.

My father died 6 years ago and my mother just died last year that leaves me
to the care of my sisters. They all have their own families and supporting me
in my studies is not really easy for they also have their own children. This
scholarship means a lot to me because I really want to finish my studies.

I request you to kindly consider me as one of your deserving beneficiaries in

this collegiate scholarship. It will be an enormous blessing to me if I will be
chosen. It will help me work towards my dream of becoming a midwife in the
near future.
