Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). It has received “good” ratings in nearly every crash test done

Dear Mr. Adams,

Thank you for writing to us about your bill being three times higher than the amount of your past
three bills.We also have received your appeal about your bill.We are sorry to hear about the
difficulties that you had for your water bill in the recent month.”We agree that it could have been
an error on the reading,” which is what made your bill higher.

We have examined your water meter and found no problems in the water meter. It seems to us
that one of the factors would be that the water meter has a leak or malfunction. We made sure to
send one of our technicians to investigate the problem at your residence.We also heard from our
technician about the problem that he/she found at your residence. He/she was unable to identify
and leak or malfunction. We also found that this amount of water usage could not happen in a
one month period. After explaining it to the corporate office, they also looked into the situation
and felt that there was not an error in the meter reading. The appeal that you sent has
unfortunately been denied and your amount listed on the bill is due in full.
