The Effects of ABM Strand Subject on the

Allowance Management of Senior High School Students

Introduction

Throughout history, money management has been practiced by many

people. That is because money is one of the most important thing a person can
have. Money management basically concerns the purchases you make to be able
to satisfy your everyday needs. Managing your money may be easy to say but in
reality is actually a bit harder to do due to the temptations to buy more stuff you
don’t actually need.

In this study, I hope to develop a strategy to help one manage money more
effectively and efficiently.

Background of the study

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to develop a plan to help senior high school students manage
their monetary items. Specific questions that the researcher tends to answer are
the following:

1. How much does a senior high student spend on a daily basis?

2. Does the senior high students buy oyher items outside of school?
3. How much is the weekly allowance of a senior high school student?
4. Does the senior high students plan on how much they’re going to spend in
a day/week?
5. Does having a certain amount of money affect the academic performance
of senior high students?
