EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:

Proximity switches are based on the action of the forces of attraction and repulsion induced by a magnetic field created by the
proximity of metallic elements to the permanent magnets embedded in the structure of the housing. They require no electrical power
for their action. They are suitable for the most demanding applications and environments in the most difficult atmospheres. They are
built in containers of stainless steel and are highly resistant to abrasion and vibration at high pressures. The switches of series 70 are
cylindrical and are identified by the diameter "ø" and length "l" as specified in IDENTIFICATION OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. They
have a sensitive area at one location on the bottom of the container in stainless steel. The switches of series 70 differ from the 10, 20,
30, 80 series, because they are cylindrical and have the sensitive area on the bottom of the container. The cable inlet is established
with resin filled conduit entry.
Jetreed switches, series R are intended for use as remote devices. Installation must be carried out in accordance with the
requirements of IEC 60079-14.

Ambient temperature range:

Series 70 (C71, C73, C75; C77, C7G, C7I) and Jetreed series R: -40 °C to + 75 °C per T6, -40 °C to + 90 °C per T5

Series 10 (C11, C21, C31, C33, C81): -40 °C to + 70 °C per T6, -40 °C to + 85 °C per T5, -40 °C to + 90 °C per T4
