SOCIETAL EQUALITY IN PHILIPPINES

Societal equality is being fair to all people rich or poor. In our country there are three kinds
of status in living, first is rich people were they can buy what they want and they have a
higher privilege than others. Second is middle people they’re in the midst of rich and poor,
they only have enough money for they all needs and sometimes for they wants. And the
last but not the list is poor, they’re people that can’t afford some expenses in their daily
living and some of the them don’t have privilege to study in school, instead they work to
survive even in a young age.

Sometimes the justice in our country can change or can buy. Some rich people buy justice
in their side even its injustice, so sometimes if you are poor you don’t have a chance to
win justice because sometimes money can buy justice, but not all the time.
Some rich people in our society don’t respect poor people because they think that poor
people is lower so they will not respect them. Sometimes poor people discriminated by
rich people because of the gap between their status.

Even our ancestors have this kinds of system in there time. But in the past inequality is
much horrible, poor people have to rights and it can’t change until you die, but if you are
lucky your life can be change in that time. And now in our society the equality sometimes
existed, and its much better than in the time of our ancestors. Many things has change in
our society and the equality has improve.

In reality in societal equality, poor and rich will never equal in status in life. The poor and
rich people are different from each others, but this two kinds of people has privilege to
study in school. The rich people has more privilege to study in school because they have
a lot of money to pay the expenses and they can buy what they wants and needs. While
the poor people are dependent in some one or in government to have the privilege to
study or they work hard to pay the expenses for school and the money of poor people is
enough for they daily needs, sometimes its not enough. Maybe someday societal equality
will come true.
