Course Expectation

Having CE140-1P (Mechanics of Fluids) as one essential course in order for me to achieve my dream of
being a professional licensed engineer, I intend to learn a lot of things and be able to apply them not
limited to the subject alone but also in real life situations as circumstances require. In order for this to
transpire, I have set some expectations or desires rather for the course.

Learning could be difficult. Learning while having fun is even more difficult and most often leads to
undesirable outcomes, but if done right, will surely bring a lot of happiness and excitement not only for
students but for the instructor(s) as well. I hope to have this kind of environment during the learning
process, if possible.

Lessons and instructions are very important. To avoid confusions, I hope the instructor would always be
clear and mindful on every lesson and every instruction. If questions are raised, I hope for the instructor
to heedfully assist the concern of each student. Everyone benefitting for the course should be one goal of
the instructor. In addition to this, I hope the instructor would be considerate (if needed) to students.

Last but not the least, I think proper behaviors for certain scenarios are necessary. I hope that the
instructor would be able to maintain the environment we are supposed to have while inside the institute.

I know how hard it is to meet expectations because I already have failed to meet a lot but I do know that
you will never achieve or meet them if you never try.

I will devout myself into studying the course to the best that I could along with the other courses I have
for this term and for the terms to come ahead of me. In order for me to fulfill these, I have established
goals that will push me to be this kind of person. I know deeply understanding this subject will bring me
one step closer to achieving the dream of being a licensed engineer of mine.
