Individual task risk assessments is a collaborative approach
between the operatives and HSEQ Manager to identify all INDIVIDUAL TASK RISK ASSESSMENT significant hazards involved with a specific task, such as HV cable jointing. The individual task risk assessments will provide generic content for the operatives to control risk CONTROL: Approved Procedure associated with that task. Review and training will be undertaken on an annual basis.
Site based risk assessments undertaken by the Project
Manager or Site Manager and controlling the risks which SITE BASED RISK ASSESSMENT affect the individual tasks risk assessments for work on the site. Site based risk assessments look predominantly at the environmental factors affecting the work. In addition, site CONTROL: Method Statement based risk assessments will be completed for novel or unique works for which there is no individual task risk assessment.
Dynamic risk assessment will assess the hazards associated at
the point of work. The assessments are completed by the site DYNAMIC (POINT OF WORK) RISK operatives and look at risks not identified by the risk ASSESSMENT assessment. The dynamic risk assessment cannot substitute for a site based risk assessment nor will it cover for CONTROL: Local Control or Method significant failings in the site based risk assessment. Dynamic Statement Change assessments look at, for example, weather conditions, open excavations etc.
