When the heavy rainfall occurs and makes the soil and rock weak and loss its bond.

o SOFT MITIGATION MEASURE
- Informing each and every residence near the site where the landslide might happen what they
might do before, during, and after a heavy rainfall that might cause a landslide.
*BEFORE
-listen and watch the radio and television to be updated about the weather in the said area.
-prepare a emergency kit which contains (clothes, medicines, personal hygiene, instant foods,
important documents, batteries, phones, radio)
-when it is forecasted to have a heavy rainfall in your area, evacuate immediately.
*DURING
-stay in the evacuation center
-stay updated about the weather
*AFTER
-stay in the evacuation, leave when the authority says that it is safe to go home
-restore the affected part of the houses and clean the mud.
o HARD MITIGATION MEASURE
-make barriers that would help to stop the rocks and soil to fall or slide down.
-Planting trees on the side of the mountain
-Putting and applying the coconet in the possible area of landslide.
