SEWAGE DESIGN & DISCHARGE

NOC APPLICATION FORM CHECKLIST

1. A cover letter with the Applicant’s Company letterhead attention to the Mr.
Muayad Shabib, Head of Infrastructure Operations, NAMI.

2. All relevant items in the Form shall be duly filled up.

3. All pages of the Form shall be duly stamped (with company stamp) and signed
by the Person-In-Charge.

4. All relevant drawings accompanying the Application shall be attached with the
Form.

5. Letter (or NOC) from Nakheel – Master Planning & Infrastructure, Development
Control & Urban Planning (DCUP) on the existing sewage infrastructure
connections or provisions for the Plot.

6. Detailed drawings of the FIC connection to the sewer network complete with
cross-sectional drawings highlighting all manhole invert levels, pipe size; pipe
gradient and pipe length duly endorsed by the Consultant.

7. Estimated total volume of sewage discharge flow rate (m3/day), and expected
date of project completion or commencement of the sewage discharge.

8. The CD or DVD containing soft copies of the relevant drawings (either in

Autocad or pdf format) and scanned copies of the Sewerage Application Forms
shall be enclosed.

9. All previous Sewage Design NOCs; previous correspondences and emails (if
any) shall be enclosed with the Form.

10. For applications with swimming pool, please note that the swimming pool is not
allowed to discharge directly to the sewerage system. For us to process the NOC,
an undertaking letter from the Owner/Developer shall be required to confirm that
the swimming pool would not be discharging directly to the sewerage system but
by other means such as the deployment of tankers for swimming pool water
removal.
