Conceptual Framework Reflection

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Out of all my math-based classes, this one was my favor-
ite. This class was more project-based, and in addition to
being a student, it also helped me as an educator to en-
sure I give clear and concise directions and expectations
when assigning extended assignments.
This standard references working in environments that
support individual and collaborative learning, and self
motivation. Especially with the “Hot Dog Stand” assign-
ment, it was exciting having parameters to the assign-
ment, but having the liberty to create it as I wanted to.
Plus, it was fun seeing if I could turn a profit; in fact, I
believe the plan I created is extremely viable and could
easily be put into action!

INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES
I was able to apply the strategies that were taught to me
in this class to other aspects of my life. My grasp of Excel
MATHEMATICS FOR
became stronger (although it’s still not very good!), and
MANAGEMENT
acquired viable ways to categorize and plan data.
During this class, I was also able to take note of how I
could use what I’ve learned to help track progress moni- SPRING 2018
toring.
