SAMS commenced operations in 1990 and was formally incorporated in 1995. SAMS is

Head-quartered in Delhi, with operations spread across the country and offices in five states,

Our People
SAMS has a versatile team of consulting professionals, blending maturity and youth, with
practice leaders typically possessing upwards of 10 years of experience.
All large assignments awarded to SAMS are directed and guided by Mr. Gautam Nath,
Managing Director & CEO.
SAMS HR Consulting Services Division is directly overseen by Mr. Gautam Nath. Practice
Leaders for the Division include, Ms. Komal Shikha, Cdr. Vinod Mohindra, Mr. Abhai Raj
Singh and Mr. Simon Athaide.
Practice leaders for the Supply Chain Management Division include Mr. Sanjay Rastogi and
Ms. Ritu Khushu.
Dedicated teams reporting in to the above practice leaders are usually assembled and deployed
for all large engagements. Operational-level consultants are guided by team leaders, typically at
the level of Senior Consultant, with the company.
Cdr. Vinod Mohindra, Senior Manager- Public Health Engagements: A graduate from NDA,
Khadakvasla, Cdr. Mohindra has more than 30 years hands on and senior level exposure to the
HR function spanning the Navy, industry and developmental sectors. Areas of specialization
with SAMS include Recruitment, Project Management, Relationship Management of Key
Accounts, HR Practices, Staffing Reviews and Training
Sanjay Rastogi, Associate Director- Management Consultancy Services: An FCA with more
than 20 years post qualification experience, Mr. Rastogi’s expertise domains include Corporate
Audits & Advisory Services, Management Consultancy, Assurance Services for INGOs/
Multilaterals, and Supply Chain Management Services. Mr. Rastogi has supported SAMS
engagements in the above areas for more than 12 years.
Ritu Khushu, Associate Director, Procurement and Supply Chain :A B.Sc (Chem) and
CA(Inter) with more than thirteen (13) years of experience in Procurement, Supply chain,
Inventory Management and Capacity building of public health officials in the Malaria, TB
Control and HIV/AIDS programme. Presently empanelled with Global Drug Facility (GDF) as
a Certified Procurement and Supply chain Consultant and been part of Joint Monitoring
Missions and global workshops in various South East Asian countries.
Raman Suri, Associate Director, IT Services: An M.A. (Economics) and Research Scholar
(Applied Economics), Mr. Suri has more than 30 years of PQE as an Economist and
Management Consultant. Focus areas have been sectoral economic studies, forecasting and
statistical analysis and supply chain modeling.
Simon Athaide, Finance Manager: A B.Com. (Accounts) from Ranchi University, Mr. Athaide
has eleven years of experience in the accounts function including eight years with SAMS with
complete responsibility for revenue and expenditure accounting, claims processing and
facilitating disbursements. Mr. Athaide has been Alternate Practice Leader– Payrolling Services
for more than seven years with SAMS.
Abhai Raj Singh, Practice Leader - Large Projects: An MBA (Rural Development) from G.B.
Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad, Mr. Singh has more than eight years experience of
handling recruitment assignments. Mr. Singh has successfully managed and led large turnkey
recruitment projects at SAMS including MPRLP (700 professionals), NHSRC (+300
professionals), MPTAST (204 professionals), FIND (approx. 300 professionals).
Kafil Akhtar, Manager- Large Project: An MBA, in Information Technology, Amity University,
Mr. Akhtar has 12 years of experience in the area of database management, hardware and
software maintenance and networking, including nine years with SAMS. Mr. Akhtar has
excellent exposure to supporting recruitment projects in the areas of database management,
collating and validating screening and interview scores and administering online and/or physical
written tests. Mr. Akhtar has been additionally responsible for Hardware and Software matters
for Payrolling Services, covering laptops, local networks, data cards and mobile phones.

Step 1: Register on SAMS website for availing Resume Preparation Service. Create your
password protected account by filling up a simple form, where you need to provide basic
information about yourself and upload your draft resume in MS Word format.
Step 2: SAMS’ turnaround time (TAT) for Resume Preparation Service is conveyed to you
through a calendar widget. TAT is typically 3-5 days, but may vary, depending on request
pipeline and/or complexity of request.
Step 3: If you find the TAT acceptable, please proceed to make the online payment. You will
be directed to the payment gateway, where you can make an online payment, as per applicable
rates.
Step 4: Once SAMS receives the payment, you will be notified via an email, confirming your
order details.
Step 5: SAMS Team shall share three sample templates with you to illustrate and agree the
style and format in which your resume shall be developed. You may select one and give us the
go-ahead for resume preparation.
Step 6: Work on your order commences right after this! SAMS develops your resume in the
finalized template and shares draft version(s) within the agreed timelines.
SAMS’ Resume Preparation Service has a specific and limited purpose: We review and re-
construct your resume, ensuring that it is a professional-looking, high-impact document that
does full justice to your experience and credentials, from the perspective of hiring
organizations.
Resume Overhauled: Submission of your draft resume in MS Word, enables us to get started.
Once you subscribe to our service through the SAMS website, you are required to submit a soft
copy of your latest resume, providing complete information about your qualifications,
experience and skills, apart from key responsibilities handled by you in all roles, from the time
you commenced working, to date. Please note that SAMS does not develop resumes or sections
of a resume, on the basis of oral inputs provided by subscribers.
Turn-around Time (TAT): Following successful registration and submission of your draft
resume in the desired format, SAMS will provide you visibility to our online scheduling widget
to indicate the TAT you could expect for your resume. Average TAT for the final delivery of
resume shall be 3-5 days from receiving the soft copy of your draft resume. Once you agree to
the timelines proposed, you will be requested to make an online payment for the service.
Agreed Output Delivered: We shall discuss and make revisions requested by you to the draft
resume shared, allowing two rounds of iterations/ revisions, before delivering the final output.
Please note that the revisions shall need to be requested within a fortnight of submission of our
draft output.

SAMS shall work in MS Word format and provide you variants in both .docx and .pdf
format. The resume developed by SAMS will address the following key aspects to help
improve the quality of presentation:
Improved Language: SAMS shall ensure use of correct language (English), spelling
and grammar to give the resume a professional touch.
Succinct and Well-written: The resume shall read well and be drafted in a concise
manner to make a positive impact on prospective recruiting managers.
Length: The resume shall be typically between 2-4 pages in length, depending on your
level of experience. Resumes for junior profiles shall not exceed more than 2 pages,
while senior profiles may warrant more pages based on the experience. Relevant
experience shall be given more priority.
Structured and Well-formatted: The final layout shall be well organized, structured
and formatted to enhance readability and to give your resume a clean, polished and
professional look.
Highlight Skills and Strengths: Your resume shall highlight your skills, areas of
expertise and the potential value you are likely to bring to an organization, based on past
performance demonstrated in your career, so far.
Factual and Not Flowery: SAMS shall develop the resume purely based on facts and
shall not endorse any embellishments.
Quality Checks: SAMS shall ensure a rigorous quality check by completing optimal
levels of proofreading before making the final delivery to you.
Service Exclusions
SAMS does not provide the following outputs in the Resume Preparation Process:
(1) Cover Letter: This service does not cover preparation of cover letters.
However, SAMS may assist you - on request - by providing you access to a resource section
that shall include five to six sample cover letters, which you may then develop on your own.
This facility shall be made available to you, post-subscription.
(2) Design Elements: Resumes, by default, will not be creative in nature or contain any special
design effects such as infographics and other graphics. In case you would like to have creative
elements included in your resume, this shall be treated as a special request and is not covered
under the routine service offering.
Pricing
Pricing of SAMS’ Resume Preparation Service is based on the experience and role of the
applicant:

In case you wish to have a custom look and feel for your resume, additional costs towards
inclusion of design/visual elements, will be charged separately and the same shall be
ascertained on the basis of requirements specified by you. TAT for the same shall also vary and
will be agreed with you, separately, before SAMS commences work on this request.

We have no way of identifying and give no preference or special consideration, during our
screening, assessment and shortlisting processes, to subscribers, who apply to vacancies
with SAMS clients, using resumes developed by us.
Overview
SAMS’ Resume Evaluation Service has been used by more than 100 satisfied jobseekers, to
date.
More than 70% subscribers have found our inputs to comprise breakthrough, take-away
insights, that have made a permanent contribution to the way in which they apply for jobs.
(1) Construction of an assessment matrix* for the job you wish to apply for, customizing
templates that we routinely use in consultation with progressive organizations in the social
sector. (Note: Our matrices consider and assign scores to qualifications, experience, skills and
key job responsibilities, apart from the look and feel of both the resume and cover letter)
(2) Careful review and match-up of your resume and award of scores to each parameter listed in
the assessment matrix
(3) Justification of scores awarded alongwith suggestions for improvement
(4) Practical suggestions for improving the look, feel and impact of your resume and cover
letter
(5) Hands-on, formatting improvements to your resume

* Our assessment matrix serves like a cheat sheet, anticipating the impact your present
application is likely to have on the hiring organization.
Most subscribers are able to replicate our process and approach to future vacancies they wish to
apply for.
We Study Your Resume and Assess the Likelihood of Your Being Shortlisted
Only the top 15 to 20 applications (approx 8% of response), are likely to be looked at closely by
the Hiring Manager and only the top 5 to 10 candidates (approx 3% of response), called for
interview.
Hiring organizations today undertake formal and in-depth assessments of applications and it is
clear that significant care and attention needs to be invested in the preparation of your resume
and cover letter.
SAMS believe that both resumes and cover letters need to be constructed afresh for each job
applied for. Regrettably, there is no generic template that can be recycled from job to job. We
fear it is this lazy, ‘recycling’ approach to applying for jobs, that is predominantly responsible
for your poor success in getting called for interviews.
Our service focuses on content (and not aesthetics), analyzing and formally scoring your resume
vis-a-vis the vacancy requirements, using assessment matrices popular with the more
progressive organizations in the social sector.
We pinpoint all job parameters for which your application is not fully responsive to the hiring
organization’s requirements and need attention and rework to enhance impact, improve scores
and get shortlisted for a final interview.
Please note that our service is geared to help you successfully apply for a specific job. We do
not help make ‘general’ improvements to your resume and cover letter.

Assessment and feedback on resumes and cover letters are normally provided within 48 to 72
hours of your sharing these documents with us.
Mismatched Applications
We find that the experience and skill sets of a few subscribers to be significantly mismatched
with the job they wish to apply to.
Such subscribers score poorly in the assessment matrix and there is next to nothing that we can
recommend that will improve their scores meaningfully to enable their serious consideration by
the hiring organization.
We give forthright feedback on mismatch and our inability to make constructive suggestions in
such cases. However, since the evaluation nevertheless takes us two to three hours to carry out,
we do not make a refund in such cases.
Exclusions
We also do not provide resume evaluation services to candidates seeking to apply for vacancies
that have been mandated to SAMS to fill.
We provide analytical insights and suggestions for enhancing the impact of your resume and
cover letter in the context of a specific job application. We believe that the job-seeker is best
advised to affect improvements her/him self.
SAMS has experience in excess of thousands of hours of assessing and interviewing candidates
for vacancies, administering assessment templates and question banks developed in consultation
with our clients for this purpose.
We believe that final job interviews are increasingly being conducted by hiring organizations in
a structured and organized way, enabling their Selection Panels to systematically assess the
comparative competence of shortlisted talent with respect to key Qualifications, Experience,
Skills and Attributes (QESAs). This trend allows us to anticipate the structure and content of the
interview process and help you prepare for it.

It should be noted that our inputs have a specific and limited purpose: we help you prepare for
an interview, as a consequence of which you will be more confident when you interact with the
hirer and will do better in the interview. We make no claims about effecting improvements to
your interviewing skills and/or a successful outcome of your interview.

Session #3: Feedback on Mock assessment of the mock interview illustrating our
Interview (45 minutes) conclusions with reference to specific components of the

Turn-around Times
We expect to be able to commence sessions within two days of registration and payment.
We require one to two days of internal preparation time for key stages of interaction and
accordingly expect an overall time involvement of about five days for the provision of interview
coaching assistance.
Exclusions
We do not coach candidates who have been shortlisted for interview by us for vacancies that
have arisen with our clients.
Interview coaching inputs are provided by Zoom/ Skype to candidates. Candidates based in the
NCR region may avail of the facility for in-person mock interviews at our office, at no extra
cost.
Refund Policy
Registration for interview coaching is based on subscription and payment for the support pack
you are interested in.

Complete payment will have to be made for the pack you are interested in by credit/debit card
or internet banking, before you are enrolled for interview coaching.
