During drilling activity for North-Eastern reaction pile, the drill bit broke at a depth of
24m, which could not be retrieved by any feasible means. To expedite the work,
CCCC has calculated (as attached) the expected load. The attached calculations,
based on Geotechnical Investigation Report recommendations, for the overall uplift
loads generated from those four reaction piles demonstrate the capacity more than
twice the required test load, 21464kN. Hence, based on the above-mentioned
information, CCCC requests Saudi Aramco to grant us permission to proceed for the
concreting activity for the Reaction Pile, with 24 Meters depth, at CCCC own
responsibility. CCCC ensures Saudi Aramco the Safe Work Capacity within the
parameters,
