Abortion: Give mercy to unborn children

Hook: what is abortion? How can this affect the mother? Why do people continue doing this abhorrent
thing?

(Body info)An abortion is when the pregnancy of a woman is ended; it is called sometimes "termination
of pregnancy”. Abortion is a highly controversial issue that is affecting our society. People feel
that abortion is evil because it is killing an unborn child. Nearly 60% of women experience at least one
unintended pregnancy between the ages of 14 and 40.

(Thesis)Abortion should be declared illegal and banned, because abortion is the killing of a human being.
It is also against the laws of God and the beliefs of Christians.

Claim (reason): Legally speaking, murder is defined as one human being unlawfully killing another
human being, according to the Legal Information Institute. Abortion is an act that kills or murder the life
God has given to us.
(Evidence.1)From the source (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion)states that “Abortion is
somehow classified as a murderous act. This is due to ending or putting an end to a person's life
specifically on infants."

(Evidence.2)Featured in the (Harpers bazaar culture and politic) by Jennifer Wright, "abortion is murder
not birth control and when it comes to an unwanted teenage pregnancy this is usually the solution to
hide their mistakes from reality."

(Claim.2)Because of abortion the unborn child that God-given right to life, that life is a gift from God,
and that abortion is the sinful destruction of God's sacred creation. We Christians our beliefs is in the
Bible, being the word of God, is the basis for how we conduct our lives.

(Evidence.1)according to the Bible said,”thou shall not kill”, terminating a developing life for these
reasons is just as much a sin against God and the unborn life.

(Evidence.2)According to the source https://www.jw.org."Life is a gift from God. He considers all life to
be precious, including the life of a child in the womb. So if someone intentionally kills an unborn child,
that amounts to murder."

(Opposing view)While some knows that abortion is one of the safest procedures in medicine with
modern methods like medication and surgery for abortion.

(Rebuttal.1)Stated above that abortion is a mistake. According to the world health organization, the
drug mifepristone in combination with prostaglandin appears to be as safe and effective as surgery but
this have a side effects include abdominal pain, feeling tired, and vaginal bleeding. Serious side effects
may include heavy vaginal bleeding, bacterial infection, and a malformed baby if the pregnancy does not
end.

(Rebuttal.2)
By medical procedure, abortion can directly cause to mental health problems for at least some women
there are risk factors, such as pre-existing mental illness, that identify women at greatest risk of mental
health problems after an abortion.

Conclusion

(a. restatement)Therefore, abortion must be declared illegal. It is considered a murder and against the
laws of God. A parent must be responsible of an infant that is a gift from God.

(b. prediction)An infant deserves a bright future ahead of them and they can also correct the mistakes of
a parent. An infant can be a good leader someday. Every children plays a big role in this world and each
of them can change this world. So, don’t end a lite.
