3. (10 points) Plot the transfer characteristic (vi vs vo ) of the given circuit (Figure 3). Mention each of
the critical points clearly.

4. Estimate the diode voltage at 1 mA and 25 ◦ C, when measured junction current and voltage at a partic-
ular temperature are known and given below.
(a) (5 points) 590 mV at 100 µA and 100 ◦ C.
(b) (5 points) 850 mV at 10 mA and -50 ◦ C.
