KIDS AND TECHNOLOGY

Nowadays, the technology is very important around the world. People use different electronic
devices as television, tablets, cellphones, laptops, computers, video console, etc.

Some years ago, kids have started using electronic devices frequently and the society has
different opinions about that.

In most cases, adults think that usually children spend more time in the computer or
cellphone than reading a book or playing with other kids. This is because the parents don’t
teach their children to interact with other people. For them it is easier to give them an
electronic device to distract them. Another reason may be because the parents work a lot and
nobody can take care of children, so they will do whatever they want, for example watch tv
for a long time, watch videos, play videogames, etc.

Generally speaking, when you use any electronic device you damage your sight. The
electronic devices have a blue light and this slowly destroys the sight because it has more
energy and a shorter wavelength than other colors.

On the other hand, few people think that is necessary that children learn to use different
electronic devices because the globalization has made everyone use technology all times and
if they learn from young to handle these tools, they won’t have problems in the future.

Also, children use the technology because they have a lot of information for their different
activities, for example if they want to bake a cake with your parents, they will find the recipe;
if they want to watch videos about puppets, mimes or circus, they can watch these videos in
youtube.

In conclusion, I think that children must use technology mainly for important things, but also
in some cases, they can use that for relax.
