• Describe the learning objectives and the procedure of using the text in an English classroom
(base your ideas on the Subject Programme for basic school).
The procedure for using text in the English classroom is very original because this text connects

between man and nature
to develop the creative abilities of children, giving each child the opportunity to
express themselves in a joint creative activity.
to foster understanding of the rules of behavior in nature, the proper respect for the
environment, the desire to actively participate in protecting the environment.
• Adapt the text to the requirements and needs of the basic school students.
-Earth Day is celebrated annually in many countries around the world on April 22.
Earth Day is a day of active and practical work for nature, carried out in the spring and designed
to encourage people to be more attentive to the fragile and vulnerable environment on planet
Earth. People are working to prevent threats to the planet - destructive rains, ozone holes, all
forms of air and water pollution, etc. On this day, people learn what they can do to save our
planet. The first Earth Day was held in the USA and founder was Denis Hayes.
• Design a set of tasks to develop intercultural-communicative competence using the adapted
text. (Your tasks should be based on Bloom’s taxonomy, and at least one task should be of
interdisciplinary character)

assessment
• Predict the potential pedagogical effect of the tasks on your basic school students.
Properly organized monitoring and evaluation removes students' fear of tests, reduce anxiety,
form the correct goals, focus on independence, activity and self-control.The emotional function
is manifested in the fact that any type of assessment (including grades) creates a certain
emotional background and causes the corresponding emotional reaction of the student. Indeed,
an assessment can inspire, aim at overcoming difficulties, provide support, but it can also upset,
put in the category of "lagging behind", aggravate low self-esteem, disrupt contact with adults
and peers.
