 5. Praise Report
Last July 14,2019 during HLM Nationwide BTCS we pre launched a SWE at Villarosa
Beach Resort aka Barefoot Church. It was led by Brother Edremel Maribo who was commissioned by our
HLMSouth Sr. Pastor Eric Negado.
Careful planning with the help of our senior Pastors and church leaders with powerful
intercession was established throughout the preparation. Since we don’t have enough volunteers yet to make it
as weekly celebration, together with HLMSouth management team we decided to hold the celebration every 1st
and last Sunday of the month.
By God’s amazing grace the pre launched last July 14,2019 was a huge success which
exceeded our expectations. Our expected attendees were only 50 people but miraculously there were 114
people who attended the celebration. The weather was so perfect for the celebration and everyone enjoyed the
fellowship over our simple prepared food and the attendees had a great worship experience despite the
brownout throughout the service. The team was so happy with the outcome and was excited for the next SWE.
The team cannot contain the excitement so we planned out the next celebration with
special foods, more spirit filled worship songs and a more welcoming environment. On the day of our 2nd
celebration an expected change of weather came, heavy rain poured out because of Habagat that became a
very challenging circumstance for the team and attendees ,some of us became so anxious whether to push it
through or not especially that we are near the shore line were waves and rushing wind is expected . Despite of
it we chose to be faithful to God and took the challenge, the workers were so committed that even floods and
heavy rain cannot stop us from worshiping God that day. There were only 39 attendees but still we were so
thankful for God’s divine protection and intervention. We wrapped up the celebration with a fellowship over a
“Boodle fight” and it has been our culture every after SWE as part of strengthening the unity of the church. We
all came to the venue safe and got home safe.
That experience never discouraged the team but instead got more excited to witness again
how God will move on our next SWE celebration. More challenges came, on the 3rd SWE celebration we
experienced a raging storm .Some of our volunteers also got into minor car accident on the way to the set up of
the venue , financial challenges and volunteers commitment issues were experienced but despite of it all the
team remained still and faithful to the Lord. Indeed we witnessed again how God works in His own special
ways and that He is always faithful to His promises. More supporters came, more workers raised up and more
souls are won for God’s glory.
Until this moment on ,up until the grand launch and next services to come we will be
more excited to spread God’s word, expand His kingdom, serve His people and be a faithful servant to Him
whatever it takes.
