ARTIFICIAL LIFT

1. DOCUMENTATION
- Material Certificate shall be issued by manufacture. Specific material or
equipment shall comply with standard requirement is listed as follow:
- Gas lift valve, gas lift dummy valve, and chemical injection valve shall
comply with section 4.3 API Specification 11V1.
- Chemical injection package shall comply with section 5 BP Specification
number ARII-MS-305.
- Mandrel shall comply with section 5.1.2 API Specification 11V1.
- Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP), motor, motor controller, and motor
protector (motor seal chamber) shall comply with section 3 API Recommended Practice
11S4 or section 5 BP Specification number ARII-MS-315.
- Submer pump cable shall comply with API Recommended practice 11S5.
- Pack off (ESP cable and gas lift)
- By pass tubing clamp
- Control line protector

- Monogram certificate shall be issued by American Petroleum Institute

(API).

- Manufacture Data Record shall be issued by manufacture based on

Material Certificate. Specific material or equipment shall comply with standard requirement is
listed as follow:
- All valve shall comply with section 4.3 API Specification 11V1 which
consist of chemical composition limit, heat treatment condition, and mechanical property
limits (tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and hardness).
- Chemical injection package shall comply with section 5 BP Specification
number ARII-MS-305.
- Mandrel shall comply with section 5.1.2 API Specification 11V1 which
consist of chemical composition limit, heat treatment condition, and mechanical property
limits (tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and hardness).
- Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP), motor, motor controller, and motor
protector (motor seal chamber) shall comply with section 3 API Recommended Practice
11S4.
- Submer pump cable shall comply with API Recommended practice 11S5.

- Certificate of Conformance shall be issued by manufacture.

- Guarantee Letters shall be issued by vendor.

- Inspection and testing report shall be issued by manufacture and

witnessed by user. Specific material or equipment shall comply with standard requirement is
listed as follow:
- Gas lift valve, gas lift dummy valve, and chemical injection valve shall
comply with section 4.4 API Specification 11V1 which consist of valve pressure test, stem
seat leakage test, shelf test, valve design verification test (production run test, probe
test, valve insertion test, and reverse flow valve closure test).
- Chemical injection package shall comply with section 7 BP Specification
number ARII-MS-305.
- Gas lift mandrel shall comply with section 5.2 API Specification 11V1
which consist of NDE testing, hardness, mechanical, pressure, and drift.
- Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) shall comply with API Recommended
Practice 11S2.
- Submer pump cable shall comply with API Recommended practice 11S6.
- Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP), motor, motor controller, and motor
protector (motor seal chamber) shall comply with section 7 BP Specification number
ARII-MS-315.

- Catalogue and manual issued by manufacture for all materials.

- WPS/PQR shall be issued by manufacture.

- Gas lift mandrel shall comply with section 5.1.3 API Specification 11V1 or
section IX ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel code.

- Drawing shall be issued by manufacture.

- Specification Data Sheet shall be issued by manufacture according to the

material requirement and design.

- Marking requirement shall be attached by manufacture. Specific material

or equipment shall shown the information is listed as follow:
- Gas lift valve, gas lift dummy valve, chemical injection valve shall shown
manufacture name or trademark, API specification number, API monogram, and date of

manufacture. Requirement can be seen on section 4.5 or Appendix E API Specification

11V1.

- All mandrel shall be marked according to section 5.1.6 or Appendix E API

Specification 11V1 which are showing manufacture name, API monogram, API license,
date of final acceptance by the manufacture, Manufacture Mandrel type identification,
and part number. Especially for mandrel painted marking are required.

2. RECEIVING INSPECTION AND TESTING

- Packaging and Marking Inspection:
- Packaging shall comply with section 3b and 3c of this appendix.

- Visual inspection:
- The Inspection to make sure the condition of equipment.

- Identification Check:
- Inspection based on material certificate.

- Pressure/Leak Test:
- Examination shall comply with section 4.4 and 5.2 API Specification 11V1
for all valve.

- Performance/Functional Test:
- Examination of Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) shall comply with API
Recommended Practice 11S2.
- Examination of Submer pump cable shall comply with section 7 API
Recommended Practice 11S6.

- Painting or coating Test:

- Examination of chemical injection shall comply with section 6 BP
specification number ARII-MS305.

3. SHIPPING, PACKAGING, AND MARKING REQUIREMENT

a. Shipping Requirement
- All mandrell shall comply with section 5.1.7 API Specification11V1.
- Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) shall comply with section 3 API
Recommended Practice 11S3

- Chemical injection shall comply with section 9 BP Specification number
