Standard 4: Instructional Delivery and

Management

Component 4.e: Analyze motor skills and performance concepts through multiple means (e.g.,
visual observation, technology) in order to provide specific, congruent feedback to enhance
student learning

Artifact: EDU 256 bulletin board

Spring: 2019

Refection:

As part of my 256 field experience one of my requirements was to complete a bulletin

board for my host school. Since school was about to end I felt that it was appropriate for me to

create a bulletin board on summertime activities that students could do over their break. This

bulletin board relates to standard 4.e due to learning from visual observation and providing

students with ideas and feedback on how to be physically active and safe over summer vacation.

I find this bulletin board important to my professional development because it provided me with

a different and unique way of teaching students. In some cases students may gain more

information from this bulletin board then from a general class depending on the type of learner

they are.

Overall creating this bulletin board was unique and exciting experience and very critical

to my professional development. Creating this provided students with different opportunities on

how to remain physically active and safe over the summer. Having this bulletin board in the

school will gain the attention of students and provide them with critical information than can

help them greatly over the summer.
