Appetizer
1 Go to the Quizlet link to complete this task. Review the flashcards until you feel that
you understand the information. Then complete the Learning activity until you have
reached mastery. Then complete the Writing activities attached to the assignment
with at least an 80%.
2 Watch the Crash Course video on the Scientific Revolution and complete the guided
notes worksheet for the video. Turn in the worksheet to be graded before moving
on to the entrée assignment.
3 Read Chapter 10 sections 5 in your world history textbook and complete the
activities and questions on pages 374-378.
Side Dish

on those people from the resource websites below.
2 Choose 8 important inventions that happened during the Renaissance and Scientific
Revolution. Use the inventions graphic organizer to conduct research on those
inventions from the resource websites below.
3 Choose 8 important people or inventions and conduct research using the below
resource websites below. You can use the note taking graphic organizer or take
Cornell notes to take your notes.
Desert
1 Create an interactive digital timeline of the people or inventions from the Scientific
Revolution and Renaissance from the research you completed during the Entrée
activity. You need to include at least 8 people or inventions in your timeline and
have an image with your information for each. You can use online resources of
Sutori or timetoast to create your digital timeline.
2 Create 8 trading cards on the important people or inventions of the Scientific
Revolution and Renaissance. For the front of each card, you need to have an image
and the name of the person or invention. On the back of each card you need to
have the importance of the person or invention and explain how they have
influenced the world. You can use a website like Canva to create your trading cards.
3 Create a movie or animated cartoon interviewing 8 important people of the
Scientific Revolution and Renaissance. You need make sure that you cover why they
are important and how they have influenced history. You can use resources like
Creaza, Movavi, or Kizoa to make your movie.
