1.Bob Marley
Robert Nesta Marley known as Bob Marley is the greatest reggae singer ever. He spread his
reggae music and message of love, peace and unity to a worldwide audience. When he played
his performances, the audience felt his biggest passion and energy.
Marley was born in 1945 at a small village in Jamaica. His father has a white skin while his
mother is black. When he was a child, he received a racist bullying. Fortunately, this racist
issue he received, had an impact to his song writing. At the age of 14, he made a decision to
left school for music. He met members of his future band at a jam session. They decided to
name their band The Wailer. It took several years before they became famous.
The Wailers’ first album was released in 1973 and sold well. When Eric Clapton had covered
one of his songs in 1974, Marley got a lot of global attention. In 1975, He released his
popular song ‘No Woman, No Cry’, and still regarded as a classic good song today.

2. Bill Gates
Bill Gates is one of the richest men in the world today. Gates chose to drop out from the
University and he focus on developing Microsoft company which then prevail. Now, because
of his hard work, Microsoft became in to most computer software producer in the world.
Today, Bill Gates is known as the founder of the manufacturer and the owner of the microsoft
software of windows operating system which is used by the majority of people all around the
world.

Bill Gates was born as a smart kid because he like reading and quite smart in school and was
interest with bussiness. At the age of 13 years, he prefers to stick with the book rather than
getting along with others. Therefore, he often quarreled with her mother. One day, his father
threw the bottle to Bill because he was considered too naughty. After he was taken to the
therapist, the parents let bill become independent person and eventually make bill follow his
hobby to tink with computers.

Bill’s cleverness made Bill chose Harvard as the first choice as his University. However,
because he made microsoft with his friend, Paul Allen, he decided to drop out of university.
although it’s heavy, but the decision was right, because now microsoft becomes a microsoft
software manufacturer which used by the majority of all people worldwide.
Today, Bill Gates has retired and no longer deal with Microsoft. He chose to focus on
humanitarian affairs through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In 2007, a total injection
of funds provided by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to reach USD 28 billion. The
foundation is regarded as one of the most widely foundation donated funds for humanitarian
activities. Bill Gates himself was reported to have given most of his wealth to philanthropic
activities, amounting to 48%. Then, he joined with other wealthy benefactors who also had the
same goal, such as Warren Buffet and Andrew Carnegie.

1. Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is located on the Champ de Mars in Paris. Built in 1889, it has become both
a global icon of France and one of the most recognizable building in the world. The tower is
the highest building in Paris and the most-visited monument in the world; millions of people
visit it every year. The engineer Gustave Eiffel came up with his name for this tower. The tower
was built as the entrance arch to the 1889 World’s Fair.
The tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall, and as height as an 81-story building. Upon its
completion, it is higher than the Washington Monument to assume the title of tallest man-made
structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years, until the Chrysler Building in New York City
was built in 1930; but, due to the addition in 1957 of the antenna, the tower is now higher than
the Chrysler Building and it is the second-tallest structure in France after the 2004 Millau
Viaduct.

2. MoNas ( Monumen Nasional )


The National Monument (Indonesian: Monumen Nasional, popularly abbreviated as Monas) is
a 132 m (433ft) tower in the centre of Merdeka Square, symbolizing the fight for Indonesia. It
was built to memorialize the struggle for Indonesian independence.
The monument consists of a 117.7 m obelisk on a 45m square platform and at a height of 17
m. Towering monument represents the philosophy of Lingga and Yoni. Resembles a phallus,
or pestle and Yoni resembles mortar, two important things in the tradition of Indonesian
agriculture.
3. Colosseum
The Colosseum or Coliseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre (Latin: Amphitheatrum
Flavium; and Italian: Anfiteatro Flavio or Colosseo), is an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre
of the city of Rome. Built of concrete and stone, it is the biggest amphitheatre ever and is
considered as one of the greatest works of architecture and engineering.
The Colosseum is located just east of the Roman Forum. Construction of this building began
under the Vespasian emperor in 72 AD, and was finished in 80 AD under his descendants and
heir Titus. Further renovations were made during the reign of Domitian (81–96).These three
emperors which are known as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheatre was named in Latin
because its relation with their family name (Flavius).
