BUTLER SERVICE PHRASEOLOGY

BUTLER: Good morning ma’am (name of the guest) welcome to Saint Clare Hotel I am
___________________ your butler. May I assist with your luggage bag ma’am?

GUEST: hello good morning! Yes thank you.

BUTLER: this way ma’am pls.

(Approaching front desk)

BUTLER: good morning ma’am/sir can I have the reservation Mr. /Ms. ________________________

RECEPTIONIST FRONT DESK: yes ma’am, your reservation room is _______will you please sign the guest
form and received form for your room key/key card.

BUTLER: Thank you! (Receiving the key).This way ma’am to your reserved room _________.

(Open the door, turn on the lights).

BUTLER: have a seat ma’am. Would you like something to drink ma’am?

GUEST: No thank you!

BUTLER: Okay ma’am let me introduce to you the room amenities, we have the air conditioner,
refrigerator, double bed, single bed, vanity mirror, sala set, television, drawer, bathroom and bath tub,
shower with hot & cold water, magazine tray.

BUTLER: Is there anything else would you like to know or request ma’am?

GUEST: Yes, can you please unpack my luggage

BUTLER: Okey! Ma’am/Sir here is my calling card do not hesitate to call me or to our department if you
have some concern or question regarding for your staying here in our hotel, by the way Ma’am/Sir
tomorrow you have a meeting with your colleagues at exactly 9:00am and in the afternoon you have a
Dinner date at exactly 7:00pm ….thank you ma’am/sir.

GUEST: Ok! Thank you.

BUTLER: Thank you ma’am have a good and enjoy the rest of your stay here in hotel.

In the evening:

The guest drunk and the butler need to assist the guest on laying down the bed for safety and comfort of
the guest.

The Guest vomited on the floor assist the guest give him/her a glass of cold water and assist the guest to
lay down on the bed.

After the guest laying down the bed clean the vomited floor and leave the room without noise.

Day 2:

Morning:

The guest call the butler for checking out and the butler need to assist the guest of the luggage.

BUTLER: Good morning ma’am/ sir are you ready for check out? How was the night sir? are okey now?

GUEST: Yes I’m okey this hotel is so nice and I really enjoyed the night.

BUTLER: Thank you for coming in our Saint Clare Hotel Ma’am/Sir we’re looking forward for your next
visit thank and have the nice day!
