Assignment -3

Use any two (2) of the following tables to implement demand side management approach
while minimizing the cost for the consumers respectively. Keep in mind, you also need to
maintain their specific choices for the pre-scheduled loads and the DSM should turn into a
maximization of their satisfaction.

Task-1: Matlab code using PSO or Fuzzy logic Or hybrid model (using both or more
techniques)

Task-2: Compare the results for ‘Without DSM’ and ‘With your DSM’ in a chart showing Peak
to Average Ratio (PAR), Peak Demand (kW), Total cost for both cases.

Task-3: Provide relevant graphs of consumption curves ( Demand- (kW) vs Time(hrs)) for
each case.
