Resources & Time Starter (10 minutes)

In the beginning, the teacher will check the student’s prior knowledge by
asking them:
Pictures
Tr: who can tell me what the stages of the frog life cycle?
Chart paper Tr: will give the students 1 minute to turn and talk with a partner then raise
your hand if they know the answer.
Key Vocabulary
Tr: choose the students randomly.
Ss will answer and say the first, second, third, fourth stage of frog life cycle.
Modeling

Tr: Today we are going to learn about frog life cycle.


Tr will ask the students,
Tr: frog have different types of feet?
Tr show the Ss picture of frog and tadpoles.
Tr: how does a tadpole breathe?
Tr: what the different between the frog and the tadpole?
Tr: is some frogs burrow underground?
Tr: frogs drink water through their?
Tr will introduce a PowerPoint that include pictures and the vocabulary about
how the frog grows up? “stages”
Tr will read the vocabulary and the students will repeat after her.
Tr will translate in Arabic.
Resources & Time Main activities (30 minutes)

Emergent activity:

Students will work individually. The teacher will give the students instruction
and give them example about the activity.

The teacher will give the student circle paper with colours. They will draw and
colour the frog stages.
Development Activity:

(frog plate)

The students will work individually. The teacher will give the students
instruction and give them example about the activity.

Tr will give the students plate, frog pictures, colours and glues.

Students will draw and glue the frog life cycle in the plate by using the colours
and glue.

Master activity: (frog tongue)

Students will work in individually. The teacher will give the students
instruction and give them example about the activity.

Students will create long frog by using colours paper and white papers. They
will organize the stages in order by writing the stages name.
 The teacher will put timer to let the students clean up their table.

Resources Plenary (5 minutes)

Tr: will do recap for the lesson.

Tr will rise a poster about frog life cycle and explain each stage.

After that, teacher will ask the students: who will come and explain for us the
frog life cycle?

Tr will choose the students randomly.

Ss will come and explain each stage for the other students.

Tr will draw lines in the whiteboard. And put the frog life cycle pictures and
the vocabulary.

Tr: now I will do a competition.

Tr: I will use timer for 30 second and I will choose one student from each
group. And you will come to arrange the frog life cycle in correct order with
their names.

Tr: the winner will get a points.
