Essential Understanding:
Jesus Christ has become a real person through Mary, His mother. Throughout His life, the identity of Jesus is revealed
as being truly human and truly divine, one person.

From His nature, we recognize His identity as Savior and Redeemer who carry out His mission as a Priest, Prophet and
King

Transfer Goal/s:
The students in the long run and on their own should be able to answer with conviction the question which Jesus
posed to His disciples: “Who do you say that I am?” and live their moral responsibilities as members of a priestly,
prophetic and kingly people

Essential Understanding:
Jesus Christ has become a real person through Mary, His mother. Throughout His life, the identity of Jesus is revealed
as being truly human and truly divine, one person.

From His nature, we recognize His identity as Savior and Redeemer who carryout His mission as a Priest, Prophet and
King

Essential Questions:
In what way is Jesus a true God and true man?

How does Jesus fulfill his priestly, prophetic and kingly mission?

What course of action can we do to develop a loving knowledge about Jesus?

I. Preliminaries
Review:
- What is the meaning of the word “lord”?
- To whom should we only addressed this word?
Motivation:
Song Analysis: “Living Sacrifice”
- What is the song all about?
- What is the message of the song for us?
- What part of the song struck you most? Why?
