FOOD ORDERING SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
There is a lot of scope online food ordering business and we can tap it to the max extent possible
as everyone has access to an online ordering facility via the internet. Food business usually will have high
demand and hence online business prospect for food ordering should be profitable. We will provide an easily
accessible interface wherein the customer can view and place the order easily.

The customer can register initially with minimum details and will be allowed to check the menu items before
ordering them, adding them to cart and submit the order. The system records the details in MySQL database
so that it will be easy to retrieve later. The users of the system also include employee/admin who will handle
info related to product addition and assigning vehicle for placed orders.

INTRODUCTION
The food business in restaurants is being carried out in the same fashion for so many decades. In the
restaurants, when the customers visit, they will read the large menu card which just has the name of the item
and price. They have to decide in moment’s time and place the order just to wait in the queue for getting the
ordered items on their table. Sometimes, the waiting time is so huge that the customers will actually lose
interest in the item. Moreover, some customers will be in their office or busy to come physically to the
restaurant and eat.

To ease the process of ordering the items, giving a description of each item and getting the item on the table
the online food ordering system is designed. Some of the common problems are listed below.

The general problems faced while ordering food physically in a restaurant are listed below.

1. Viewing the complete description of the menu item before ordering.

2. Placing the order standing in a queue.
3. Waiting for the customer’s turn to get the food.

These hurdles will be avoided by placing the order online.

PHARMACY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
ABSTARACT
Pharmacies interact with multiple patients every day, and data regarding each of these interactions are stored
within the pharmacy information system. Data may be used later for improving the business strategy or it may
be needed during a certification or inspection process.

The reports offer valuable insights into the operations in the pharmacy. It can be used to distinguish the patients
who visit the pharmacy frequently for refills, and this can be used to stock accordingly.

INTRODUCTION
The Pharmacy Management system otherwise referred to as the pharmacy information system stores data,
systemizes and controls the use of the medication process with the pharmacies.

The Medical Technology and Information technology is growing day-by-day. The system developer makes
use of this golden opportunity to help the pharmacist in controlling their stock and choosing the right medicine
by using the computer program.

The pharmacist makes use of the pharmacy management system to control the pharmacy reliably. Patients
sometimes prefer to visit the pharmacy instead of a doctor for minor illnesses, and the system enables the
pharmacist to prescribe over the counter drugs for these ailments.
VEHICLE RENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
The motivation behind this research is the growing popularity of web-based systems and the need to explore
the Short Message Service (SMS) technology that industries could tap into to enhance their services to the
customers. This paper described a notification-based content alert and web-based system using SMS
technology. It was specifically developed for the alert notification to the customers about the car rental
information, and the availability of the car reserved. The main purpose of developing SMS-based content
alert for car rental system is to reduce the cost and time consumed, which is beneficial to the car rental agencies
and customers. Therefore, the system was designed automatically to send an alert SMS to the customers about
the availability of the car reserved.

INTRODUCTION
Car rental or car hire agencies are private companies that provide short time leasing vehicles for a specified
time with a fee to their customers. The car rental service increasingly becomes the preferred option for most
people, especially among students in campuses and universities. This occurs because not all students can
afford having their own vehicle.

Besides, the raising taxi fares and inconsistent bus arrivals continue to discourage people from taking up the
public transport. Therefore, car rental service continues to grow in Malaysia, hence it required an
improvement and good monitoring system.

Many organizations used web-based system that can be integrated with SMS technology because most people
often used mobile phone that gives convenience to the users who are familiar with SMS technology.
CONCLUSION
This project gave us the opportunity to try our new skills in practice. While doing this project
we also gained deeper understanding on database design and how it can be implemented in
real life situations. Also we try to implement innovations in the existing ideas.
